LIFE HAS ALWAYS BEEN A MYSTICAL JOURNEY.

My creativity has been
a way to manifest the Divine.

I began my formal training at the Manhattan Arts Students League and later studied fine art at college in New Hampshire and Miami. I obtained my B.A. in both Painting and Religion. My first painting exhibition was in 1988 in Florida.

While pursuing my Masters degree at Skidmore College, a deep desire to experience the spirituality of other cultures eventually lead me away from academia. Thus began a journey to the middle and Far East which was to last twelve years.

Designing jewelry entered my life after completing a thirty-day fast several years ago. Jewelry design is natural for me. I am in continued awe of the effect of using color, texture, and light to create inspiration, beauty, and healing.

MY INSPIRATION

Early on in my life a love and appreciation of art and creativity was instilled in me by my mother. As a child I was encouraged to try many artistic mediums, and by high school had become totally mesmerized by painting.

I went on to study painting and drawing at The Art Students League in Manhattan, and graduated with a double major in religion and painting from the University of Miami.

At 21, I began showing my work publicly and had my first solo exhibition at a gallery in Delray Beach.

JEWELRY DESIGN

Designing jewelry entered my life after completing a thirty day fast 17 years ago. Jewelry design is natural for me. I am in continual awe of the effect of using color, texture and light to create inspiration, beauty and healing.

I started designing for myself, and people were requesting to buy the pieces I was wearing. After walking into a well known art gallery the owner absolutely loved the piece I was wearing and insisted I show my jewelry in her store. That was the beginning of placing my designs publicly. I eventually discovered that through upscale women’s boutiques I could reach the most women, and be part of their own divine expression in the world.

That was the beginning of what became a way for me to satisfy my spiritual life of being in the present moment, channeling a sense of a peace and vibration that would create the same feeling in the the person wearing the jewelry, as well as fueling my deep artistic need for harmony through color, light, design, and balance.

We are all beautiful, and finding the right piece of jewelry can help to radiate and reflect our light, beauty and uniqueness into the world. There is a power and vibration in crystals and stones which help us to get in touch with our intuition and the parts of ourselves long forgotten, reminding us of who we truly are.
